Reports

This screen covers how to set up and use the integral system reports within the ECASYS application.

Invoices Summary
This example, the Invoices by Funder Summary report, can be found under the REPORTS icon; or here. Only those users with the proper access will be able to run this report (and see any data).

The dates that the report can be run against can be changed by the user at run time. By default, when you first enter a report screen, the FROM date of the report will be set to the first day of the current month. In the same way, the TO date will be set to the last day of the current month; correctly handling '30', '31' and Februarys' ending date. Februarys' last day will be properly set to either '28' or '29', depending if the current year is a leap year or not. The user has the ability to change these from and to dates, by entering new values into the text boxes at the top of the screen.

After changing the date values and upon leaving the date fields, ECASYS will inspect the dates to make sure that they are valid.

You will notice that the parameterized reports are fairly powerful, allowing you to easily select different combinations of contractors, funders, programs, work order status codes and date ranges. Again, your selections will be maintained throughout the life of your current session (connection).

To rerun the report using your date changes, simply press the [Run Again] button at the bottom of each report screen, or click the small report icon at the top () if that is more convienent.

If your selection results in no records being returned, you are informed of that with a hilighted string of text, that looks like this:

No Records selected within the given date range of (2-01-2000) to (2-29-2000) with the parameters shown.

Your report date settings will be maintained throughout the life of your current session. That is, if you select a different online date-driven report, any date setting changes that you've made in this session will be retained. These date settings will be reset to the default values when you leave your current ECASYS session.

Note:
The Browser presentation we are using handles the formatting of cells within tables. Notice that you can change something that looks like this:

Portrait
To this:

Landscape

simply by selecting to print a given report in Landscape mode, when printing.
