Terms and Definitions

To take the greatest advantage of our current workflow redefinition process,
we are finding that it makes sense to collapse the use of multiple analogous terms
in certain areas into one term (sometimes a new word altogether).

Active InvoicesAn 'Active Invoice' is an invoice with OPEN or COMPLETE Work Orders associated to it. It is Active because changes can still be made to it by ECA staff.
Applicants"Applicants" is now in use, rather than "Intakes" -- Note: Prospects has also been used here.

BSRP Basic Systems Repair Program Provides grants up to $15,000 for emergency repair or replacement of basic systems: heating, water/sewer, electrical and structural. Administered by PHDC.
CAP Customer Assistance Program PECO Energy's percent of income payment program for payment troubled low income customers.

CLS Community Legal Services Public Interest Legal Services provides free legal representation to low income. Also serves as the Public Advocate on gas issues.

CRISIS The second stage of LIHEAP. Crisis grants up to $250 are available to prevent shutoff, or to restore heat or heat related utility service.
CRP Customer Responsibility Program PGW's program for low income customers, involving a percent of income (PIP) payment plan. Most customers pay 7.35% of income toward their gas bill.
CVCrew Visit
CWP Conservation Works Program PGW's conservation program for low income customers. CWP provides an average of $400 worth of insulation, air sealing, clock thermostats, education and other measures.
DCED Department of Community & Economic Development Administers WAP for the State of Pennsylvania. Created in 1996, it is the result of a merger of the Departments of Commerce and Community Affairs.

ECAP Energy Cooperative Association of Pennsylvania ECAP is an energy cooperative which sells renewable energy, affordable electricity and fuel oil at affordable prices.
